Abstract: Coupling theoretical calculation method in Value Engineering with stru-ctural reliability, this paper has come up with formulas of function-cost in oil-gas pipeline, t.e, value-reliable equations, which are called value-reliable calculation.The characteristic of this method is that if the material and its reliability are given, the cost of pipeline can be directly calculated from loads, Therefore, it is also of certain value for reference because economy combines with technique in this method.
