STUDY OF DIAGENESIS OF SANDSTONE RESERVOIRS IN SHA 3 MEMBER OF EOGENE SYSTEM RAOYANG DEPRESSION

Abstract

Abstract: The feldspathic sandstone in Sha 3 member of Eogene system (Es3)has experienced strong diagenesis and entered the early stage of late diagenetic C. The diagenesis of sandstone in Es3, especially the control of various authigenic minerals over physical properties of the reservoirs has been studied in detail in this paper. The porosity-permeability of the reservoirs is largely proportional to the development of authigenic minerals inside them. The authigenic origin of step-like garnet has been approached, the connection between the formative temperature of various authigenic minerals and the Clastic diagenesis has been discussed，and the distribution feature of time and space of diagenesis in the area has also been described.
