Abstract

Abstract:

The large analogy unit in testing tri-axis stress on rock is an essential equipment that can be used to have an analog study on the mechanical characteristics of the rock in deep un-derground. So far there have been no such units on sale in market. Through the discussion
of both the necessity and possibility on the unit，the paper offers a much newer，simpler and more economical approach to the design of the unit.
