Abstract: Thin layer division and contrast is the foundation for the en-forcement of oil field development scheme,but general method of thin layer division and contrast have certain limitation. To surmount this defect,this paper have applied a new method to carry out thin layer division and contrast. This method is according to the view-point of Sequence Stratigraphy, on the basis of thicker sequence di-vision, with the Parasequence methods, Parasequence group meth-ods, isotime methods and slice methods and so on to carry out the thin layer division and contrast for shaxi structure N1-N12oil reser-voir. According to the contrast result of oil-water relation and thin layer division, with this method of integration analysis, it is practi-cal and feasible to carry out thin layer division and contrast.
