Abstract: The foundation and core of reservoir management is its database.In order realize the target of reservoir management,one of the most important steps is to establish the database that is based on the modern database technology and suitable to the current situation of our country’s oil company.This paper pre-sents the following aspects of reservoir management database:its
importance,content,design and construction, maintenance and
function. The goal of reservoir management can be achieved through application of the data provided by the reservoir man-agement database.
