Abstract: In this paper, the microcosmic characteristic of performed gels and secondary cross-linked gels with the same concentra-lion has been studied场atomic force microscopy(AFM).By comparing the images of performed gels with those of secondary cross-linked gels , results indicated that the microstructure ofsecondary cross-linked gels presented thick network in which very small holes and bigger irregularly holes were embedded. The width of the biggest irregularly holes was 200 nm. The experimental results were analyzed , and the formation mechanism of bigger irFegularly holes and the mechanism of easier dehydralion has been discussed.
