RESEARCH ON HYDROPHOBIC-LIPOPHOBIC PROPPANT

Abstract

Abstract: Hydrophobic-lipophobic proppant can be obtained by immersing all kinds of proppant among hydrophobic-lipophobic treatment fluid such as ceramsite and quartz sands.Mechanism of hydrophobic-lipophobic treatment fluid on molecular constitution is analyzed，and the agent treatment process and chemical stability，hydrophobicity，lipophobicity，proppant carrying capacity and flow conductivity of hydrophobic-lipophobic proppant are introduced.The result shows that hydrophobic- lipophobic proppant can diminish the possibility of block.Therefore，the fracture can maintain higher flow conductivity and prolong validity of fracturing at the same time.
