Abstract: In view of the difficulties in evaluating the quality and assessing the productivity of low-permeability complex porestructure clastic rock reservoirs with medium to low porosity located in the middle and deep formations of the central Hebei Area, we initiated a study involving the quantitative characterization of the pore structure based on nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. By combining the well testing analytical data, we determined the correlation between the lower reservoir quality limit and index and the reservoir fluid production, established an appropriate reservoir classification standard for the area, and developed a well-rounded reservoir quality and productivity evaluation technique. The application of this technique to the evaluation of reservoir effectiveness and productivity showed good results; with the high accuracy rate of 87.7%, it can provide accurate suggestions for well testing in oil field exploration and development.
