On the basis of analysing the development and distribution of the sedimentary facies of late Permian age and their characteristics, it is thought that the sedimentary enviroments of late Permian in Nanpangjang river area consist of continental, shore, sub-shallow sea and shatlow-bathyal ones. Correspondingly, two kinds of earbonate platforms, the bioherm and the deep-water trough facies sedimentation are developed. The above characteristics of the sedimentary sea basin are concerned with the development history of plate tectonics in the area and directly controlled by encient faulting within this area.According to the tectonic activities, some equestions have been posed which must be paid attention to in petroleum exploration.

Volume method is one of the basic methods for the calculation of gasoil reserves. However, parameters used traditionally are average values, and from large area calculation. The results obtained in this way are not accurate, and can not reflect the characteristics of nonuniform reservoirs. In this paper, we have developed a new method, unit volume method, to count gas-oil reserves, and have drawn from the results obtained,a gasoil reserve distribution map which will play a good guiding role not only in the study of non-uniformity of gas-oil strata, but in oil expioration, development and well pattern as well.

In this paper,we discussed the origin of natural gas in Xiangxi formation, Mid Sichuan Basin, according to the geochemical characters of gases, condensates and source rocks in the area, in which natural gas belongs to a more typical type of coal-generating gas. Having made a series of comparison between gases, condensates and source rocks, we thought that the natural gas of Xiangxi formation in the south of this area partly comes from underlying Leikoupo formation.

We discussed how to use the theory of thermoelasticity in the thermal stress analyses in casings of thermal oil recovery in this paper. Also, we pointed out the defects of the theory of one-dimensional thermal expansion. The formulas have been obtained in this paper which are used to compute more accurately the thermal stress in casings of thermal oil recovery.

Up to now, in acid treatment design at home and abroad, it has not been taken into account how the effective mass transfer coefficient of the hydrogen ion De varies with acid concentration Co in solving the convection-diffusion equation which shows the distribution of acid concentration along a fracture. In this paper, we have not only solved this equation by means of finite differences, considering the change of De with Co, but also shown the conditions of the stability and the method.

The friction-wear property of the testing ring, which is made of High-Chromium cast iron with different hardness and surface finish, rubbing against the testing block, which is made of Perbunan Rubber with different hardness, is presented in this paper. The relative curves are drawn of the friction coefficient vs sliding velocity between the ring and the block, and so are the wear curves of three groups of specimens on condition that different hardness is matched with different surface finish during each rubbing processing.

Starting with the analysis of the working characteristics of a front mounted beam-pumping unit, we discussed in this paper the optimization of main-body parameters of this unit according to the present theory and method of optimum design, we have proposed the design objective by reducing the maximum fluctuating value of net torgue of output shaft in the reducer, so as to determine main-body mechanism size, balance weight and offset angle of balance mass and to make rajah-body mechanism design and calculate carrying capacity for various series of pumping units.

After analysing the construction and working principles of pneumatic shale shakers and studying the dynamics on pneumatic shale shakers, the calculation formulas of pneumatic shale shakers and vibrators have been obtained by the authors. It is pointed out in the paper that the slope angle of screen surface, excitation frequency and amplitude of pneumatic shale shakers can be regulated according to actual requirements, so that a way is explored for designing a new-type shale shaker.

This paper has derived a new method to calculate the critical temperature T_K, which, as the temperature increases, is yielded by the thermobending phenomena in the round-longer bar under four different conditions of binding, i.e. both ends hinged, both ends fixed, one end fixed whereas the other hinged, and one end fixed whereas the other free. The collocation method of MWR(Method of Weighted Residuals ) is used to analyse and calculate in this method, with which the common formula.
