Abstract:

Pan Maoyuan's idea of application-oriented institutes' faculty development is an organic system combined by thoughts of
connotation, important, problems and path. The system further confirms the faculty development' connotation from the general to
specific, analyses the importance and the existing problems of faculty development from macroscopic view to microcosmic view, puts
forward the basic route of faculty development from the external force to internal drive. Pan Maoyuan's idea of application-oriented
undergraduate faculty development lies the theory cornerstone and provides practical guide for the application-oriented undergraduate
faculty development in China.
