Abstract:

The evolution of the concept of "Spring and Autumn" was a process of diminishing. Confucius neither created nor
modified The Spring and Autumn Annals, but he used it as a textbook for teaching. The Spring and Autumn Annals initiated the historical style of chronology as a history book. It was also a politicized work, and its narrative focused on "technique of writing", "calligraphy" and "authentic examples", which imposed profound influence on the development of Chinese traditional historiography.
