巡视制度自古有之，梳理中国巡视制度的历史轨迹，回顾当代中国巡视工作的制度化进程，概述当前巡视工作的战略
设计，阐述新形势下巡视工作的职能定位和工作机制。中国共产党巡视工作的实践和党中央对新形势下巡视工作的新要求表
明，巡视制度是一种反馈机制，是一种震慑机制，是一种沟通机制，是了解干部的重要途径，是民主进程的助推力量。

Abstract:

Patrol system enjoys a long history. This paper reviews the history and the institutionalized progress of Chinese patrol
system, summarizes the strategic design of current patrol work and explains the function orientation and working mechanism of the
patrol work in a new situation. The practice of the patrol work of the Chinese Communist Party and the requirements to the patrol work in a new situation from the Party Central Committee show that patrol system is a mechanism of feedback, awe and communication, is an important way of knowing cadres and can promote the progress of democracy.
