摘要:

城市形象是国家形象的重要组成部分,城市形象的国际传播研究对构建国家形象具有积极意义。以国际传播中的城市形象为聚焦,以杭州为研究案例,综合运用应用语言学和新闻传播学相关理论,通过语料库研究方法对国际新闻语料库NOW Corpus和自建杭州国际传播语料库进行数据统计和分析,在“自塑”与“他塑”对照视角下揭示中外媒介舆论场域中杭州城市形象的差异性,并就新时代背景下国际传播中杭州城市形象的多维构建提出建议和对策:应充分发挥媒介事件传播效应,积极拓展国际传播维度,加强柔性传播策略应用,并充分关注负面新闻的传播影响,以构建世界一流的社会主义现代化国际大都市城市形象。

Abstract:

City image is an important part of national image, and the study of international communication on city image is of positive significance to the construction of national image. Focusing on the city image in international communication, this paper comprehensively uses theories of applied linguistics, journalism and communication, and the data of international news Corpus NOW Corpus and self-built Hangzhou International Communication Corpus are collected and analyzed by using the corpus research method. Meanwhile, under the comparative perspective of “self-shaping” and “others- shaping”, it could reveal the differences of Hangzhou’s image in the field of public opinion in Chinese and foreign medias. And it also puts forward suggestions and countermeasures: give full play to the propagation effect of media events, broaden the dimension of international communication, strengthen the application of flexible communication strategy, and keep a closer eye on the communication influence of negative news to form the city image as a world-class socialist modern international metropolis in the new era on the multi-dimensional construction of Hangzhou city image in international communication under the background of the new era.
