Abstract:

Memories of youth pernleates YAN Geling and WANG Anyi s”Cultural Revolution”writings．Both works were set in the
”Cultural Revolution” when school leavers went and worked in the countryside and mnuntainous areas．Both writerS shared many similarities in their ideas of history and literature narrations．f(1r they chose the narrative and writing style that was different front that of the grand one．and they contemplated hist()rv and the wonlen in history from the perspective of their own 1ife experiences． Moreover，both writers exposed and reflected on the special period in histnQ'and the abnormal human psyche．
