Determination of Content of Total Flavones in Alnus ferdinandi-coburgii

Abstract:

Objective: To establish a method for determining the content of flavonoid in Alnus ferdinandi-coburgii. Methods: The
content of flavonoid was detected from Alnus ferdinandi-coburgii by UV-visible method and the rutin was used as control.Results:Rutin was good linear in the range of 0.19 ~ 0.95 mg/mL :A=1.082 6C+0.049 7（r=0.999 6）the average recovery of 99.6﹪ and RSD of 1.09﹪（n=6）. Conclusion: The method is simple, rapid and accurate. It can be used for determining the content of total flavones in Alnus ferdinandi-coburgii.
