Abstract:

From the perspective of home and abroad, history and reality, explicating the connotation of fate and the factors that
affect the personal destiny or fate, this essay analyzes the roles of individual, society, nature, and culture in a broad sense. It comes to
the conclusion that fate is the universal and pervasive links among things in the world which is reflected in personal life. Wonderful
natural and social environments are objective conditions of good individual fate; national culture in a broad sense is the social genes
of a person. Any social reform originates from the change of idea. People should be positive and optimistic to meet and change their
own fate.
