"Cultural Debates" Polarized around the High and Low Cultures Distinction in the "Jazz Age"

Abstract:

This essay makes an analytic study on the "cultural debates" between high and low cultures in the "Jazz Age"
represented by Tom and Mrs. Wilson from Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby. With the help of cultural studies, the purpose is to discuss
their destinies: reunion and death.
