Investigation on Practical Teaching of the Ideological and Political Theory Course in Colleges and
Universities: Taking Seven Colleges and Universities in Yunnan Province as Examples

Abstract:

Practical teaching is always a focus and a difficulty in teaching reform of ideological and political theory course. Through
the investigation of seven colleges and universities in Yunnan Province, this paper finds that the status of the practical teaching of
ideological and political theory course is formalism, evaluation system is defective, the poor coordination in practical teaching in
different courses, poor performance in team work, all of which lead to the poor effectiveness of the practical teaching and the low degree of acceptance of the teaching effect of ideological and political theory course from students. Based on the current condition, this paper proposes the reform and practical exploration of the mode of execution, content and assessment, the construction of operable comprehensive practical teaching mode, and the improvement of the teaching effectiveness of the practical teaching of ideological and political theory course.
