Abstract:

Thailand, the first country in the world which brings Chinese language education into its national education system, is a
typical country with "Chinese Fever" and the biggest number of Chinese learners. Its Chinese education covers from primary,
secondary, higher education to vocational, informal and Chinese-Thailand cooperation areas. However, Chinese textbooks, especially
Chinese teaching materials for primary and secondary education, are not applicable, which becomes the bottleneck for Chinese
education in Thailand. Localized compilation of Chinese textbooks is a necessary trend.
