Application and Effect of Clinical Nursing Pathway in COPD Patient

Abstract:

Objective: To investigate the application and effect of clinical nursing pathway（CNP）on COPD patients. Methods: 76
COPD patients who were in hospital from May to November in 2015 were divided into observation group and control group with 38
patients in each group. The observation group received the nursing mode of clinical nursing pathway, while the control group using the
traditional mode. Results: The patient's health knowledge and patient's satisfaction to medical care services of observation group were
better than the control group（P<0.05）and the average length of hospital stay in the observation group were significantly lower than the
control group（P<0.05）. Conclusion: The working mode of clinical nursing pathway increased the COPD patients' health education
comprehensively, improved the patients' satisfaction to medical care services and reduced the average length of hospital stay. It is
worth of popularity in clinical care.
