Narrative of Female Trauma in Lost in Russia

Abstract: Taking Chinese family relationship as the main line, the film Lost in Russia reveals the marriage relationship and parentchild
relationship in the traditional mode. From the perspective of the trauma suffered by the three women in the film, this paper uses
the trauma narrative theory to analyze the causes of the trauma, the main reactions after the trauma and the ways to seek for healing. To
understand the theme contained in film narrative from the perspective of female trauma, it can provide guidance and reflection on the
relationship among Chinese generations and couples.
