Abstract: The study investigated the color classification and preference of sick children. The results showed that：淤The basic
color semantic space of sick children presents a dichotomous tendency of chromatic vs. achromatic and light vs. dark，and 11 basic
colors are divided into 4 categories：dark （including gray，brown，black），white，warm （including red，orange，yellow，pink，
purple），cool colors （including green，blue）. 于The color preference of sick children is yellow，blue，green，red，orange，purple，
pink，white，brown，gray and black in sequence，and there is a significant gender difference in color preference of sick children，
with boys preferring blue，and girls preferring pink.
