Abstract:

ObjectiveTo investigate the early predictive value of neutrophil-lymphocyte ratioNLRin the severity of acute pancreatitisAP. MethodsThe clinical data of 112 patients with AP admitted to the Department of Gastroenterologythe First Affiliated Hospital of Dali University from January 2020 to January 2022 and 98 healthy subjects during the same period were collected. Patients were divided into non-severe AP groupsn=80and severe AP groupsn=32according to the severity of AP. The NLR levels of different crowds were compared. Receiver operating characteristic curve ROC curvewas used to analyze the diagnostic efficacy of NLR for the severity of AP. ResultsThe level of NLR in AP patients was significantly higher than that in physical examinerand the level of NLR in severe AP patients was significantly higher than that in non-severe AP patientswith statistical significanceP<0.01. The ROC curve analysis showed that NLR had the largest area under the curve 0.761 9for the diagnosis of AP severity. ConclusionNLR has a certain value in predicting the severity of AP.
