    ObjectiveTo investigate the therapeutic effect and mechanism of Miao medicine Rubus pluribracteatus on dextran sodium sulfate DSS-induced ulcerative colitis UCin mice. MethodsFifty male C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into control groupmodel groupmesalazine groupR. pluribracteatus low-dose group and R. pluribracteatus high-dose groupwith 10 mice in each group. The control group drank water for 7 daysand the other groups were given 3%DSS solution for 7 days to construct UC mouse model. Thereaftereach group was gavaged for 7 days. ResultsR. pluribracteatus could reduce DAI scores of UC miceincrease the length of the colonalleviate the histological changes of colon tissuedecrease the levels of TNF-α and DAO in serumand upregulate the expression levels of OccludinMuc2  and ZO-1. ConclusionMiao medicine R. pluribracteatus may treat UC by promoting the expression of OccludinMuc2 and ZO-1 proteins and improving intestinal mucosal barrier function.

    ObjectiveTo investigate the mechanism of Lemai Granules in the treatment of vascular dementiaVDusing network pharmacology and molecular docking. MethodsThe active ingredients and targets of Lemai Granules were screened from the TCMSP databaseand the relevant targets of VD were obtained from GeneCardOMIMDrugBank and other databases. The intersection targets were obtained after merging and deduplication. Cytoscape 3.9.0 software was used for visual analysis of the "drug-active ingredient-target" network and protein-protein interaction network to obtain core active ingredients and targets. R 4.2.1 software was used for GO analysis and KEGG pathway enrichment analysis of intersection targetsand AutoDock Vina 1.5.6 software was used for molecular docking. ResultsQuercetinluteolinand kaempferol may be the core active ingredients for the treatment of VD by Lemai Granulesand core targets included AKT1PTGS2and TNF. GO analysis was mainly related to peptide response and cellular responses to chemical stress. KEGG mainly involved lipid and atherosclerosisPI3K-Akt signaling pathwayand other pathways. The molecular docking results showed that the binding activity between core active ingredients and core targets was strong. ConclusionLemai Granules can exert their therapeutic effects on VD through multiple targets and pathwaysmainly involving the suppression of inflammatory reaction and the regulation of neuronal apoptosis.

    ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of Periplaneta americana extract C-3hereinafter referred to as "C-3"on the formation of Candida albicans biofilmso as to lay a foundation for the development of antifungal biofilm drugs. MethodsC-3 was added to Candida albicans solution and incubated with biofilm. C-3 high dose groupC-3 low dose grouppositive control group and negative control group were set up respectively. The effect of C-3 on the formation of Candida albicans biofilm was detected by morphological observation and MTT method. The inhibition rate of biofilm was calculated to evaluate the effect of different concentrations of C-3 on Candida albicans biofilm at different growth stages. ResultsCandida albicans could still form biofilm-like structure under the action of C-3. The inhibition rates of biofilm in high dose group were 25.1% and 13.9%which were lower than the inhibition rate of fluconazole biofilm79.3%. When incubated with Candida albicans biofilm at different growth stagesthe highest inhibition rate of C-3 on 8 h biofilms was 61.7%followed by the inhibition rates on 16 h and 24 h biofilms 35.4% and 21.9%), while fluconazole only had significant inhibitory effect on 4 h biofilms inhibition rate of 75.5%), and had no significant inhibitory effect on biofilms at other growth stages. The inhibitory effect of C-3 on Candida albicans aggregation and mature biofilm was 2-9 times that of fluconazole. ConclusionThe extract C-3 mainly inhibits the biofilm formation of Candida albicans in the aggregation and maturation stagesand the inhibition effect does not show a significant dose-effect relationship.

    ObjectiveTo investigate the yeast carrier ratespecies distribution and susceptibility to common antifungal drugs in external urethral meatus of healthy college students. MethodsA total of 261 healthy university students were randomly recruited from a university in Yunnan Provinceand the swabs from urinary meatus were collected for isolationidentificationdrug sensitivity testingand statistical analysis. Results39 yeast species were isolatedwith a carrier rate of 14.9%;  among them6 strains were isolated from 130 male sampleswith a carrier rate of 4.6%while 33 strains were isolated from 131 female sampleswith a carrier rate of 25.2%. The difference of carrier rate between different gender groups was statiscally significant(χ2=21.73P=0.005. Among 39 yeast speciesthere were 11 strains of Candida albicans28.2%), 24 strains of Candida glabrata61.5%), 4 strains of other Candida species10.3%. The result showed that the geometric means of the yeast to fluconazoleflurocytosine and amphotericin B were 22.030.16 and 4.37 μg/mLrespectivelyand the drug resistance rates of isolates were 15.4%0.0% and 100.0%respectively. ConclusionThe prevalence of Candida colonization among healthy college students at urinary meatus is relatively lowwith smooth colony Candida glabrata being the predominant species.The colonization rate of Candida among female students is significantly higher than that among male students. Some Candida strains exhibit intrinsic resistance to commonly used antifungal drugs.

ResultsThere was no point mutation of K-ras gene in pleural mesothelial tissues of 59 MPM patients and 13 non-MPM patientsand the detection rate of K-ras gene point mutation was 0.0 %. ConclusionThe proportion of K-ras gene mutation type in MPM tissue is relatively lowwhich suggests that K-ras proto-oncogene point mutation does not play a key role in the induction of MPM in the crocidolite-contaminated area of Dayao countyYunnan Province.

MethodsA total of 109 ovarian cancer patients who were pathologically diagnosed and received first-line TP treatment with complete data were included in the study. Blood samples were collectedand DNA was extracted and sequenced by high-throughput sequencing to identify the genotypes of rs3918249 and rs3918241and their correlation with the efficacy of TP regimen was analyzed. ResultsAmong the 109 patients78 patients had complete or partial response CR/PR group), and 31 patients had stable disease or progressive diseaseSD/PD groupafter treatment. The frequency distribution of rs3918241 allele between the two groups was statistically significant P<0.05. The objective response rate was 3.172 times higher 95%CI1.064-9.459in patients carrying the A allele than those carrying the T allele. ConclusionAdvanced ovarian cancer patients carrying rs3918241 A allele have better short-term efficacy when treated with TP regimen.

    ObjectiveTo analyze the effect of low calcium and standard calcium dialysate segmented citrate anticoagulant hemodialysis in the treatment of uremia patients with high risk of bleeding. MethodsHigh-risk bleeding patients undergoing hemodialysis at the First Affiliated Hospital of Dali University from January 2021 to January 2022 were enrolled in the study. Low calcium dialysatecontrol groupand standard calcium dialysate observation groupwere used for segmented citrate anticoagulation. The general data before treatmentthe concentration of free calcium ions at the arterial and venous ends at 0.52.0and 3.0 hours after treatmentthe amount of citrate infused at the arterial and venous potthe coagulation status of the dialyzer and pipelineand the incidence of adverse events were compared between the two groups. ResultsThe concentration of free calcium ions in the arterial end and venous end of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group at the same time period. The infusion speed of citrate in the arterial end and venous pot was fasterand the duration of dialysis was shorter. The differences had statistical significanceP0.05. The total coagulation rate of the dialysis pipeline especially the venous pot in the observation group was higher than that in the control groupbut the incidence of adverse events was significantly lower in the observation group than in the control groupwith statistical significanceP0.05. ConclusionThe use of standard calcium dialysate with segmented citrate anticoagulation is safe and associated with fewer adverse events. The venous pot is the main coagulation siteand increasing the amount of citrate infusion and monitoring the calcium level after filtration frequently can ensure smooth completion of hemodialysis in patients with high-risk bleeding.

    ObjectiveTo analyze the safety and effectiveness of bilateral internal iliac artery balloon occlusion in cesarean section of complete placenta previa. MethodsThe patients with complete placenta previa diagnosed in No.1 People's Hospital of Dali City from January 2017 to December 2020 were included in the study. Preoperative internal iliac artery balloon occlusion was performedfollowed by cesarean section. The intraoperative blood lossintervention timeneonatal weightneonatal Apgar scoreneonatal asphyxia rateand hospitalization time were observed and recorded in detail. ResultsAll patients had central placenta previaand cesarean section was successfully performed with the assistance of temporary balloon occlusion. One patient had penetrating placenta implantationand underwent subtotal hysterectomy due to hemostasis difficulties. All newborns survivedand no infectionsdeep venous thrombosisiliac artery thrombosisarterial ruptureorgan damageor maternal deaths occurred postoperatively. ConclusionFor pregnant women suspected of having dangerous complete placenta previaa detailed treatment plan based on a multidisciplinary emergency team should be developed. Temporary balloon occlusion before cesarean section provides a safe and effective method for treating complete placenta previa with less bleeding and fewer complications while preserving the uterusimproving the patient's postoperative quality of life.

    ObjectiveTo analyze the clinical efficacy of Baylor plaster immobilization in the treatment of Legg-Calve-Perthes disease in children hereinafter referred to as "Perthes disease". MethodsBefore treatment18 children with Perthes disease were classified by Catterall. After treatmentall children were followed up for at least 2 years. At the end of the follow-upStulberg classification evaluation and Harris score of hip joint were performed. ResultsAll the children began to receive treatment after the average diagnosis of 2.6±4.1monthsand the average time of Baylor plaster immobilization was 14.3±5.2months. During the follow-up periodthere was no significant limitation on the hip joint activity in the children. At the end of the follow-upthe Stulberg classification results showed that 66.7% were excellent22.2% were goodand 11.1% were poor. The follow-up results showed that children under the age of 6 with Catteral type 1 or type 2 had excellent or good Stulberg classification after treatmentwhile children over the age of 6 with Catteral type 3 or type 4 generally had poor Stulberg classification. Howeverit was possible to obtain good Stulberg classification results after prolonged treatment with Baylor plaster immobilization. ConclusionLong-term Baylor plaster immobilization can effectively treat Perthes disease in children.

    ObjectiveTo evaluate the clinical efficacy of E-max photoelectric radiofrequency therapeutic instrument combined with human-like collagen repair dressing in the treatment of patients with facial sensitive skin. MethodsAll enrolled subjects received 4 treatments with E-max photoelectric radiofrequency therapeutic instrument and were simultaneously accompanied by the use of human collagen repair dressing. The erythema distinction value under VISIA skin detectorthe score and positive rate of lactic stimulation testthe occurrence of adverse reactions and patients' subjective satisfaction were recorded. ResultsAfter 4 treatmentsthe erythema distinction value and score of lactate stimulation test were significantly decreasedand the positive rate of lactate stimulation test was reduced from 100.00% before treatment to 20.00%with statistical significance P<0.05. The overall subjective satisfaction rate of patients was 96.67%indicating a high degree of satisfaction with treatment. No adverse reactions such as pruritus and pigmentation were observed in other patients except for 1 patient with mild skin edema and erythema after treatment. ConclusionE-max photoelectric radiofrequency therapeutic combined with human-like collagen repair dressing can obviously improve the erythema reaction of sensitive skinwhich is worthy of clinical promotion.

    ObjectiveTo explore the clinical application value of percutaneous puncture biopsy guided by contrast-enhanced ultrasound CEUSin peripheral lung lesions. MethodsThe medical records of 72 patients with peripheral lung lesions who underwent percutaneous puncture biopsy under ultrasound guidance from January 2017 to August 2021 in Qujing Hospital Affiliated to Kunming Medical University were retrospectively analyzed. According to whether CEUS was performed before biopsythe patients were divided into CEUS group and conventional ultrasoundCUgroup. The necrotic lesion displaynumber of puncture needlespuncture success rateinitial puncture diagnosis rateand incidence of complications between the two groups were compared and analyzed. ResultsThe display rate of necrotic lesionpuncture success rate and first puncture diagnosis rate in CEUS group were significantly higher than those in CU groupand the number of puncture needles was significantly lower than that in CU group. All differences were statistically significantP<0.05. Within 48 hours after punctureone patient in each group had hemoptysisand there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of complicationsP>0.05. ConclusionPercutaneous puncture biopsy guided by contrast-enhanced ultrasound can effectively identify the active tissue in peripheral lung lesionsimprove the puncture success rateand is safe and effective. It is worth promoting in clinical practice.

    ObjectiveTo investigate the early predictive value of neutrophil-lymphocyte ratioNLRin the severity of acute pancreatitisAP. MethodsThe clinical data of 112 patients with AP admitted to the Department of Gastroenterologythe First Affiliated Hospital of Dali University from January 2020 to January 2022 and 98 healthy subjects during the same period were collected. Patients were divided into non-severe AP groupsn=80and severe AP groupsn=32according to the severity of AP. The NLR levels of different crowds were compared. Receiver operating characteristic curve ROC curvewas used to analyze the diagnostic efficacy of NLR for the severity of AP. ResultsThe level of NLR in AP patients was significantly higher than that in physical examinerand the level of NLR in severe AP patients was significantly higher than that in non-severe AP patientswith statistical significanceP<0.01. The ROC curve analysis showed that NLR had the largest area under the curve 0.761 9for the diagnosis of AP severity. ConclusionNLR has a certain value in predicting the severity of AP.

    ObjectiveTo analyze the common causes of fecal occult blood based on the results of fecal occult blood test in a second class A hospital in Kunming City. MethodsThe results of fecal occult blood test using monoclonal antibody method were retrospectively analyzed in 2 000 samples from a second class A hospital in Kunming City from January to February 2021. ResultsAmong the 2 000 samplesthe positive rate of fecal occult blood test was 24.30%and the positive rate of fecal occult blood test in patients under 50 years old was the highest43.51%. The positive rate of fecal occult blood test in patients older than 50 years increased with age the positive rate of patients aged 80 to 89 decreased slightly. ConclusionDigestive hemorrhagic diseasegastrointestinal malignancy and the use of some drugs can lead to positive results in fecal occult blood test. The clinician needs to identify the cause when analyzing positive results of fecal occult blood in patients. For those who are highly suspected of digestive tract bleedingif the results of fecal occult blood test by monoclonal antibody method are negativethe fecal sample should be further diluted and retested to avoid false negative results and delay disease diagnosis and treatment.

MethodsQuestionnaires were administered to 1 200 HIV/AIDS patients attending Kunming Third People's Hospital from Decembor 2021 to March 2022. The questionnaires used the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index to investigate anxietydepression and sleep disorders in HIV/AIDS patients receiving different antiretroviral treatment regimens. Univariate analysis and multifactorial Logistic regression analysis were used to analyze the factors influencing patients' anxietydepression and sleep disorders. ResultsThe prevalence of anxietydepressionand sleep disorders in 1 200 HIV/AIDS patients was 24.9%30.7%and 39.2%respectivelyand 11.0% had concurrent anxietydepressionand sleep disordersand 20.6% had combined anxiety and depression. The results of multifactorial Logistic regression analysis showed that male, having a stable job, treatment time less than 3 months were the protective factors of anxiety, and receiving efavirenz treatment was a risk factor of anxiety; male and having a stable job were the protective factors of depression, and receiving treatment regimens containing non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors and protease inhibitors were the risk factors of depression; having a stable job was a protective factor of sleep disorders, and receiving treatment regimens containing non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors and protease inhibitors were the risk factors of sleep disorders. ConclusionThe incidence of anxietydepression and sleep disorders in HIV/AIDS patients is more seriously affected by antiretroviral therapy. The incidence of neuropsychotoxic side effects of integrase inhibitors is lower than that of non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors and protease inhibitorsand the monitoring of patients' mental status should be strengthened to optimize the protocol according to patients' conditions.

    ObjectiveTo construct the evaluation indicators for independent on-the-job training of medical personnel in response to outbreaks of infectious diseases. MethodsOn the basis of the previous researchthe target pool of independent entry evaluation indicators of medical personnel for emergent infectious diseases was preliminarily established through literature analysis and subject group discussion. From March to May 2022Delphi method was used to invite 14 experienced experts in infectious disease prevention and control to conduct two rounds of expert consultation. Using Likert 5-point scale and importance ranking methodsthe entries were screened and finally the evaluation indicator system was determined. ResultsAll questionnaires in both rounds of consultations were collected. The authority coefficients of the first and second rounds of experts were 0.81 and 0.84respectively. The evaluation indicators for independent on-the-job training of medical personnel in response to outbreaks of infectious diseases were determined after the two rounds of consultations. ConclusionThe Delphi method was used to construct the evaluation indicators of independent entry of medical personnel in the face of infectious diseasesand to provide an evaluation tool for scientific evaluation of medical personnel's ability to work independently in the face of infectious diseases.

    ObjectiveTo explore whether there is a significant difference in the effect and comfort of oxygen therapy between conventional humidification and non-humidification of low-medium flow oxygen inhalation through nasal oxygen tube for middle-aged and elderly people. MethodsA total of 420 middle-aged and elderly patients receiving long-term low-medium flow oxygen inhalation in the geriatric department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Dali University from July 2020 to February 2021 were selected as the study objects. They were divided into humidified and non-humidified groups by random number table method. Both groups received continuous low-medium flow oxygen inhalation through nasal oxygen tube for more than 12 hours per day. ResultsThere were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in terms of sputum volumepercutaneous arterial oxygen saturationsensation of the nasopharynxand odor sensation of oxygen during oxygen inhalationP>0.05. The satisfaction of the two groups was also similar with no statistically significant differenceP>0.05. ConclusionHumidification is not necessary in the process of routine low-medium flow oxygen inhalation through nasal oxygen tube for middle-aged and elderly people.
