Abstract: Enhancing adaptability is the key and main direction to promote the quality and development of vocational education. The
integration of science and education provides a new idea and an important breakthrough for enhancing the adaptability of vocational education, points out a new direction for the reform and development of higher vocational education, and is an inevitable choice for enhancing the adaptability of higher vocational education. It is necessary to reveal the connotation and significance of the integration of science and education, explain the internal connection and significance between the adaptability of vocational education and the integration of science and education, analyze the prominent problems existing in the integration of science and education in higher vocational colleges, promote the in-depth development of the integration of science and education, and explore the path to improve the adaptability of higher vocational education, so as to open up a new field and a new track for the high-quality development of vocational education and improve the training quality of innovative talents to enable high-quality development of economic society.
