Clinical Application Analysis of Setrons in Our Hospital from 2017 to 2019

Abstract

Abstract: Objective: To understand the use and trend of setron drugs in the First People s Hospital of Yunnan Province (hereinafter
referred to as “our hospital”）, and provide references for the rational use of such drugs in clinical practice. Methods: The electronic
medical records of 300 cases of setrons used in our hospital information management system (HIS) from 2017 to 2019 were selected
and analyzed from the aspects of variety, sales amount, frequency of drug use (DDDs), daily average cost and unreasonable use of
drugs, etc. Results: Tropisetron injection ranked first in sales sum and DDDs. There were 49 cases of irrational use of the drug,
accounting for 16.33% of the total cases. Conclusion: The use of setron drugs in our hospital is increasing year by year, and the trend
of drug use basically meets the needs of treatment, but the problem of incomplete dosage forms and varieties needs to be improved.
