Abstract:

〔Abstract〕 This paper discusses the status of college students' family cohesion and social anxiety，  and it analyzes the influence of demographic variables on college students'  family cohesion and adaptability and socia lanxiety， and studies the relationship between the two. A questionnaire survey was conducted  on 300 college students using Family Adaptability and Cohesion Scale， Second Edition （FACESII） and Interaction Anxiousness Scale （IAS）. The questionnaire survey shows that there is a significant negative correlation between family cohesion and social anxiety； the family cohesion of college students can explain 39.8% of the variation degree of social anxiety. When the family cohesion and adaptability levels are lower， the higher is the degree of social anxiety in college students.
