Abstract:

Objective: To make an anlaysis of death of circulatory system diseases among Xiangyun residents from 2007 to 2008 so as to provide evidence for the prevention and control of chronic diseases. Methods: Information related to the death was collected, classified according to the international classification of diseases （ICD-10）,and analyzed by software DeathReg2005. Results: The annual average total mortality was 191.80/10 per hundred thousand. The top three were cerebrovascular disease, myocardial infarction, rheumatic; the death ratio of male to female was 1.06: 1, including cerebrovascular disease （66.27%）, myocardial infarction（17.38%）.With advancement of age, death of circulatory system diseases were increaing. Conclusion: Following the accelerated speed of population aging, changes in disease patterns, cardiovascular diseases are the major diseases of circulatory system diseases, thus we should prevent and control cardiovascular and chronic non-communicable disease.
