Abstract: The socialist system with Chinese characteristics is the greatest advantage of contemporary China, the two basic attributes of which are its natures of being scientific and being advanced. This system has brought a good life to the Chinese people and has been supported by the people. The generation and development of the socialist system with Chinese characteristics has unique qualities:always adhering to the fundamentals of combining Marxism with specific Chinese practices,always adhering to the people-centered standpoint of value,always adhering to the problem-oriented motivation,and always depending on the people under the leadership of the Communist Party of China. Adhering to and improving the socialist system with Chinese characteristics is the prerequisite for developing socialism with Chinese characteristics. The development of a socialist system with Chinese characteristics must be based on the background of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era with focus on enforcement of system confidence and on improvement of system performance, and with modernization of the socialist system with Chinese characteristics as the ultimate objective.
