Abstract: Contemporary Chinese socialism is at a turning point from being rich to being strong, and only by taking new opportunities of growth can Chinese socialism thrive. Social decline is the result of many factors:the emergence of new social crises, the increase of international and geopolitical conflicts, the increase of social instability, and the increase of ideological crises all contribute to social decline. For sustainable development of contemporary socialism,China must solve problems in its development by injecting new impetus into the economy and by improving the level of opening up to the outside world with more united social consensus. At present,the supply-side reform,the "Belt and Road" initiative,the concepts of "human community of common destiny" and "Chinese Dream" and the "Five Development Ideas" have provided favorable new opportunities for growth. In view of this, further strengthening party leadership and party building, adhering to the people-centered principle, strengthening the dominant position of Marxist ideology, and establishing "Four Self-confidences" constitute the premise, the foundation, the core and the focus of contemporary Chinese socialism's development.
