大学生英语写作现状调查与分析

摘要: 以西南石油大学299名非英语专业大一学生为研究对象,以问卷调查的形式,从态度和认识、方法和策略、资源使用、难点和问题、自我评价、指导需求等方面了解大学生英语写作的现状。研究表明:大学生在写作方面有基本的认识和积极的态度,但语篇意识薄弱,体裁认识模糊,对专门的写作指导需求突出。结合学生的现状,以系统功能语言学为理论支持,提出了大学英语写作教学应在内容和形式、教材编写上注意培养学生的语篇意识,积极介绍并利用多种资源,全面培养大学生的英语写作和赏析能力。

Abstract: The study involves 299 firstgrade nonEnglish majors.Through questionnaire and analyses,the status quo of the students′ English writing is studied concerning their writing habits,basic understanding,attitudes,writing resources and the demand for teachers′ instruction.The result reveals that students have positive attitude toward and basic concepts of English writing.However students display vague awareness and understanding of discourse and style,and they demonstrate a strong demand for teachers′ instruction.Based on the status quo of the students,supported by Systemic Functional Grammar,suggestions for college English writing teaching are discussed and forwarded from the aspects of teaching contents and methods,textbook complying,and resources utilizing.
