Abstract: Strengthening the construction and perfection of rural public cultural service system is of great practical significance in promoting urban and rural development. At present,China's rural public cultural service is confronted with a series of problems:people's misunderstanding of rural public cultural services,imperfection of rural public cultural infrastructure and service management mechanism,shortage of talents engaged in rural cultural service. The construction and improvement of rural public cultural service system is not only an important means of culture and economic development in urban and rural areas, but also serve the need of urban and rural stability and harmony. Based on the perspective of overall urban-rural development, we suggest that rural public cultural service system be improved from the following aspects:improving the rural public cultural service infrastructure,promoting the informationization of rural public cultural services,improving rural public cultural service management and personnel system.
