Abstract: Due to the large quantity of poems collected, repetition of poems in the Complete Poetry of Song Dynasty is quite understandable. Many scholars have done a lot of work for improvement, including Mr. Chen Xin's Supplemented Collection of Song Poetry and Mr Zhang Ruan's Correction of Song Poetry. The present author also find some repetition of poems in Chao Buzhi, Chao Yuezhi and Chao Chongzhi Volumes:some poems attributed to other poets are actually by Chao Buzhi, and many poems attributed to Chao Yuezhi are by Xu Jizhi. Such findings suggest that close textual research and cross check are necessary when compiling anthologies, especially when selecting poems according other anthologies with large quantity of poems and therefore not easy to be free from mistakes.
