Abstract: The spatial distribution of homestays in Xiamen is analyzed by using ArcGIS and the POI data of homestays. The results are as follows:homestays are the densely located on Xiamen Island, and the spatial distribution in Zengcuoan being the densest; homestays are less densely located outside the island, with secondary centers in Jimei University Town and Xiamen North Station; the spatial distribution pattern of homestays in Xiamen is characteristic of "one center, three axes, four districts"; the most popular location of homestays in Ximen are in the following 6 areas:Xiagang Subdistrict, Kaiyuan Subdistrict, Lianqian Subdistrict in Siming District, Jinshan Subdistrict in Huli District, the Second Farm Subdistrict in Jimei District and Xike Town in Tong'an District. Based on the above analysis, we suggest that full consideration be given to urban construction planning, cluster integration of resources, and development of the "homestay+X" ecosystem so as to promote the development of homestay industrial clusters.
