Abstract: Community is the miniature and basic unit of social organism. Strengthening the ideological and moral construction, improving social civilization, accelerating the formation of residence neighborhood moral community are the key links to the modernization of grass-roots governance system and governance capacity. From the perspective of neighborhood space, the construction of residence neighborhood moral community needs to take the subject existence as the anchor point, the communication as the spatial element and the "common value" as the target. Currently, the lack of residents' moral-self due to multiple values, the lack of residents' moral communication due to the breaking of spatial integrity, and the loss of residents' moral aesthetics in the context of risk society have become the source of the dilemma in building a residence neighborhood moral community. To aggregate the "strength" of the elements of moral community building, it is necessary to facilitate the return of moral subjects through solicitude to individuals, to inspire moral emotions through neighborhood interaction, and to direct neighborhood moral aesthetics with socialist core values.
