Abstract: Since the outbreak of the epidemic, risks have been spreading with this public health emergency, and imported food has repeatedly become the hardest hit area. On the other hand, there are some problems in import food safety risk regulation, such as lack of unity and coordination in the regulatory system, lack of innovation and diversity in regulatory means, lack of openness and inclusiveness in communication mechanism, etc. Based on the long-term mechanism construction experience of diversified regulatory tools, digital governance means and open information exchange in various countries, from the perspective of process, to continue to optimize the risk regulation path of imported food safety, we should strengthen the cooperative regulation mechanism, construct the information sharing mechanism, promote the quantitative risk assessment mechanism and improve the global co-governance mechanism.
