Abstract: There is a close relationship between Chinese path to modernization and the excellent traditional Chinese culture. A close study on the relationship between the two, following the logic of "starting point-intermediary-end point", will help provide a theoretical support for the win-win development of the two, and effectively promote the stability of Chinese path to modernization and the modernization and innovation of excellent traditional Chinese culture. The overall and comprehensive explanation of the relationship between the two reveals that the value implications of "the historical dimension of maintaining integrity and inheritanc", "the reality dimension of innovative development", and "the future dimension of cultural architecture" constitute the starting point for the relationship study; the temporal and spatial situations of "consciousness of the chronical value of Chinese culture", "confidence in the synchronic value of Chinese culture", and "combination of the chronical and synchronic values of Chinese culture" constitute the logical intermediary in the relationship study; and the relationship pattern of "value commonality", "multidimensional integration", and "collaborative co-progress" constitutes the logical endpoint in the relationship study.
Key words: Chinese modernization, excellent traditional Chinese culture, value implication, time and spatial circumstances, relationship pattern
