Abstract:

Based on the construction of harmonious socialist society，The Appliance and Value Orientation of Death Penalty written by He-Xianbing sets up a new value system of criminal law.Taking the justice and humanity as its basic value orientation，this book elaborates the author′s basic standpoints on the reservation of death penalty，rebuilds the appliance standard of death penalty，and introduces restorative justice into death penalty case proceedings，which thus gives the book very clear characteristics of the present time and comparatively large originality.
