COMMENTARY ON QING PEOPLE′S SUCCESS IN COMPILING THE PHILOSOPHERS′ BOOKS OF WEI AND JIN DYNASTY

Abstract: Textology was popular in Qing Dynasty,and people had a craze for compiling scattered writings.Before Qing Dynasty,people paid attention to the preQin philosophers′ books.In Qing Dynasty,they began to compile the philosophers′ books of Wei and Jin Dynasty,which was helpful to the research on society,history and philosophy in Wei and Jin Dynasty.This article focuses on five people in Qing Dynasty named Zhou Guangye,Yan Kejun,Ma Guohan,Wang Renjun,Huang Shi.They collected 98 kinds of philosophers′ books of Wei and Jin Dynasty.Besides,this article comments on their styles and analyzes the origin of those books.
