Abstract: People′s knowledge about He Liang-jun at present is limited to his opera theories.However，as a famous scholar in Jiajing and Longqing periods of the Ming Dynasty，He was better known in Jiangnan region for his knowledgeability and his beautiful and fluent essays.Honestly，He′s poems and essays cannot rank the best at all，but his descriptions of daily life and personal feelings are full of real emotion and reflect the beauty of human nature.Besides，as he was well cultured in painting，natural scenery in his poems and essays are as vivid as pictures and convey a feeling of graceful freshness.His late works which read smooth like running creaks are natural and easy to understand.
