Abstract: Ideal and belief are the major source of power and spiritual support of a nation and an individual which contribute greatly to social and personal progress. Student party member is the most remarkably increasing group of party members，and young teacher party members in universities are young pioneers who devote their intelligence and energy to teaching and student cultivation. Therefore，it is important to enhance education on ideal and belief of party members among college students and young teachers under the guidance of the spirit of reform and innovation and ensure that they correctly understand the meaning of ideal and belief，comprehend deeply the content of ideal and belief education so that they can develop a firm belief in Marxism and integrate personal development with the great cause of the communist party.
