Abstract: Reduplication takes advantage of repetition of sound，expansion of meaning，and the outstanding visual image to increase the expressive effect and appeal of language. This positive and effective rhetorical device has been widely used in animated cartoons for young children. Reduplicated words played a very important transitional role in Children’s language acquisition process. This paper tries to point out that，seen from young children’s thinking characteristics，language acquisition and acceptance，the active use of reduplicated words is an important factor for market recognition and business success of those animated cartoons.
