ON STUDY AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SCIENTIFIC CONCEPT OF DEVELOPMENT IN HIGHER SCHOOLS

Abstract: Taking the study and implementation of the Scientific Concept of Development in SWPU as an example,this paper discusses a series of issues about how to apply the Scientific Concept of Development into practice,how to highlight practice-oriented features,how to solve the problems existing in the process of development and how to enhance scientific development. Then two fundamental approaches are introduced to implement practice activities so as to reach actual effects:first,what kind of students to cultivate and how; second,what kind of university to development into and how. At last,some specific measures are suggested as follows:1) Organize activities with distinctive characteristics based on practice. 2) Grasp the key points and thoroughly implement the concepts of investigation and mind emancipation;3) Stress practice-oriented guideline in problem solving process.
