IMPROVING TEACHING QUALITIES UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF THE SCIENTIFIC CONCEPT OF DEVELOPMENT IN HIGHER SCHOOLS

Abstract: This paper,focusing on the teaching practice in School of Economics and Management,SWPU, explores the problems in terms of the teaching staff construction,specialty construction and teaching management,which are inharmonious with the Scientific Concept of Development. Aiming at constantly promoting the teaching level and cultivating more high-quality talents,this paper puts forward some suggestions of how to apply the Scientific Concept of Development to teaching practice: change the former management concept into teacher-oriented one; improve regulations concerning teaching practice; give priority to innovation; standardize the specialty construction; and implement the management modernization. Through investigation and a comparative analysis,a series of measures are suggested to improve the teaching level and the teaching management in SWPU.
