Abstract: Systematically combing， analyzing and evaluating research results in the field of environmental regulation can reveal the development and evolution of researches in this field， and provide reference for further research. CSSCI journal papers in CNKI are selected as research data， and Citesapce is used to analyze the scientific knowledge map of environmental regulation researches. We conclude that since the beginning of the new century， with the reform and opening-up and the promotion of environmental governance practice， the academic community has paid more attention to environmental regulation， showing an upward and rapid growth in general， which is mainly divided into two stages: transformation and upgrading stage and continuous deepening stage. However， the network of research cooperation is not strong enough， which restricts the indepth development of researches. We suggest that more attention be paid to environmental governance issues such as “human settlement environment” and “ecosystem quality” in the practice of rural revitalization， and focus on collaborative researches on environmental regulation and digital economy， digital finance， finance， taxation and financial policies.
