Abstract: China′s oil corporations are getting increasingly important in China′s economy,which necessarily lays a heavier burden of social responsibility on them.Oil corporations as CNPC and SINOPEC are taking active measures to develop a good corporate social image by releasing social responsibility reports and through active involvement in social services.However,negative news report and criticism have done great harm to the social images of oil corporations in recent years.Author of this paper therefore suggests some ways for oil corporations to get out of the current predicaments after analyzing major problems they have in corporate image management and causes of the predicaments.
