A STUDY ON REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT TRUSTS IN THE UNITED STATES

Abstract

Abstract:

This essay first probes into the significance and feasibility of developing real estate investment trust in China after discussing about itsdefinition，features and history.The authors believe that we can borrow from the successful operation of real estate investment trust in the US.And taking the present state of financial and real estate industry in China，they suggestions that China′s real estate investment trust be developed with the following measures：quicken the establishment of relevant laws and regulations，set up active secondary market，foster market entity，reinforce supervision over trust and investment corporation and coach professional personnel′s in real estate investment trust.
