Abstract:

By analyzing the present state and the successful implementation of regional policies in ethnic areas in Sichuan，this essay concludes that advances in ethnic areas can be achieved by further perfecting the present nationality policy，restructuring and upgrading industrial structure，investing more in the infrastructures and social facilities，implementing preferential wage and welfare policies and by consolidating the enforcement of national laws.The strategic suggestions are of significance to the construction of harmonious society in ethnic areas.
