Abstract:

Technical innovation，as the engine of economic growth in the 21st century，is now exerting increasingly great influence on promoting the regional and national economic growth. On the basis of CobbDouglas production function，this paper analyzes the influence of technical innovation on the economic growth in ChengduChongqing Economic Zone from an empirical perspective by using multiple regression method，which leads to the conclusion that the economic growth in ChengduChongqing Economic Zone is driven mainly by labor and capital input rather than technical innovation. Based on this conclusion，we put forward suggestions on strengthening cooperation and promoting industrialization of scientific achievements
