Abstract: In the context of building a well-off society and promoting the rule of law in an all-round way, it is necessary for people in poverty-stricken areas to be well aware of the concept of rule of law so as to strengthen the legalization of precise poverty alleviation. However, due to the influence of traditional and current factors, the public awareness of rule of law in poverty-stricken areas in China still needs to be improved. The low level of understanding of rule of law, inadequate ability to apply the mentality of the rule of law, weak awareness of the rule of law and lack of belief in the rule of law all are greatly affecting the legalization the final effect of precise poverty alleviation. Therefore,we must improve people's awareness of law in the poverty-stricken areas by speeding up the economic development, optimizing the rule of law environment, promoting education and improving publicity and education of the rule of law in poverty-stricken areas, so as to create an atmosphere for people in poverty-stricken areas to enter the comprehensive well-off state of life together with the rest of China.
